What is Benevolence Ministry?
Hope Fellowship Church offers a place for people to come and discuss their financial difficulties and needs. We have a limited benevolence budget that will be available for every session. We would like to help as many people as possible with rent assistance and utility payments only. We will use the meeting time to discuss your situation and see if there are additional needs/resources that we can recommend. Our goal is to help you connect to other local ministries that might be able to offer you assistance as well.
How to Apply
To apply for assistance, you must come to Hope in person to discuss your application. The third Monday of each month is our set time to meet with individuals to discuss benevolence requests. You must provide the following at this meeting:
You must complete a benevolence application.
You must provide all available documentation/information for us to determine if we will be able to help with your financial requests/needs (ex: utility bill, rental agreement, late notice, etc).
You must provide some form of personal identification. We will need to be able to verify the information you are providing in order to offer assistance.
We will need permission from anyone requesting benevolence help to follow up on any and all information provided.
We will only assist a person/family once every 12 months.
